Our client, a Housing Organisation in the Greater Manchester area, are currently looking for a Policy and Training Manager to work on a specific Tennant focussed project for a 3 month period, to start as soon as possible.

Duties will involve:

• Representing the Organisation to Customer (Tennant) Groups in regards to rolling out a training programs for those wishing to become more involved in assisting with the running of their Housing Project
• Consulting with Customers via Workshop meetings in regards to training requirements
• Drafting proposed policies and training documents in line with best practice and preparing a presentation

The key purpose of the role is to support in the design and delivery of key IT training courses and associated reference material to support all employees within the business. The courses will be focused on the company-wide employee base, and as such the ideal candidate will need to make sessions relevant and meaningful for employees at every level within the business.

The initial focus of the role will be the design and implementation of a training course introducing Microsoft Office 2007/2010, the objective to ensure improved usability and understanding across the whole of the business. As such, experience gained within a similar role within the professional services sector would be an advantage.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Exposure to delivering Microsoft Office training
• Advanced Level in Microsoft 2007/2010
• High level of proficiency with MS Outlook
• Experience of designing, planning and presenting structured classroom based training courses, to a variety of ability levels/seniority
