<p>Owing to FSA regulations the need has arisen within this highly regarded financial services company for a dedicated L&#038;D Manager to focus on &quot;Training and Competence&quot; across the business. In administering the scheme, you will assist with the assessment of the competency of all FSA registered advisors and will develop generic job related development plans. You will design and implement various initiatives around the scheme and in so doing will develop strong relationships with managers across the business ensuring they are risk- aware.</p>
<p>Candidates for this role will hold a Diploma in Financial Planning or a CISI Diploma (or equivalent). A knowledge of, and experience in, designing and implementing a risk based suite of management information together with a minimum of five years experience in a Training &#038; Competence role (Investment Management or Fee based Financial Planning environment) is required.</p>

The role is primarily based in their Manchester Head Offices, but with weekly travel to their various sites across the UK. The main duties of the role involve: </p>
<ul>
<li>Working as part of the Management Team, communicating the positive impact of development throughout the organisation.</li>
<li>Working alongside the Recruitment Manager in pro-actively sourcing candidates for Management roles, as well as Assisting with the Recruitment process at each stage, including inductions.</li>
<li>Management of student placement programmes, development of managers and succession planning.</li>
<li>Co-ordinating training activity across the business.</li>
</ul>

<li>Proven experience within Learning &#038; Development.</li>
<li>Recruitment experience gained within a recruitment consultancy.</li>

<p>Policy and Training Manager  Housing; Temporary 3 month Contract; &pound;16ph; Greater Manchester;</p>
</p>
<p>Our client, a Housing Organisation in the Greater Manchester area, are currently looking for a Policy and Training Manager to work on a specific Tennant focussed project for a 3 month period, to start as soon as possible.</p>
</p>
<p>Duties will involve:</p>
</p>
<ul>
<li>Representing the Organisation to Customer (Tennant) Groups in regards to rolling out a training programs for those wishing to become more involved in assisting with the running of their Housing Project</li>
<li>Consulting with Customers via Workshop meetings in regards to training requirements</li>
<li>Drafting proposed policies and training documents in line with best practice and preparing a presentation</li>
<li>Updating existing policies ensuring adherence to legislation </li>
<li>Presenting training and policy proposals via more workshops to Customers and gathering feedback</li>
<li>Re working proposals and finally drafting the completed Tenancy Training Documents to be rolled out by the department</li>
<li>You will be required to work from other sites once every week or fortnight, you do not have to drive but must be willing to travel to undertake workshops</li>
</ul>
<p>In order to apply successful applicants should possess the following:</p>
</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience of working in a Housing Organisation in a similar role</li>
<li>Experience of customer reviews, policy development and some training skills</li>
<li>A good understanding of best proactive and the ability to work to deadlines</li>
<li>Good literacy skills, adept at writing non complex training modules</li>
<li>The ability to work on own initiative and promote best practice</li>
<li>Be able to interview week commencing the 9<sup>th</sup> of May with a view to starting as soon as possible after this.</li>

<p>IT Trainer; Permanent; Manchester; &pound;20,000 &#8211; &pound;22,000</p>
<p>Our client is a leading professional services organisation, based in the heart of the North West. As part of their continued expansion, they are now seeking to recruit an additional IT trainer, reporting directly to the Training Manager. </p>
<p>The key purpose of the role is to support in the design and delivery of key IT training courses and associated reference material to support all employees within the business. The courses will be focused on the company-wide employee base, and as such the ideal candidate will need to make sessions relevant and meaningful for employees at every level within the business.</p>
<p>The initial focus of the role will be the design and implementation of a training course introducing Microsoft Office 2007/2010, the objective to ensure improved usability and understanding across the whole of the business. As such, experience gained within a similar role within the professional services sector would be an advantage. </p>
<p>The ideal candidate will possess: </p>
<ul>
<li>Exposure to delivering Microsoft Office training</li>
<li>Advanced Level in Microsoft 2007/2010</li>
<li>High level of proficiency with MS Outlook</li>
<li>Experience of designing, planning and presenting structured classroom based training courses, to a variety of ability levels/seniority</li>
<li>Excellent communication and presentation skills</li>
<li>The ability to work responsibly and with autonomy</li>
<li>High-level personal organisation</li>
<li>Experience of collating figures and producing statistics for management reports</li>
</ul>
<p>The salary bracket for this role is &pound;20,000 &#8211; &pound;22,000 per annum. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 7 hours per day between 8am  6pm with an hour for lunch, dependent on the needs of the business and/or Training department. Candidates must be willing to do any 7 hour shift between 8am  6pm.</p>
