Training & Recruitment Officer; Permanent; Manchester; £28k + Benefits

Our client is a leading UK organisation and have been voted in the Sunday Times top 100 companies to work for. They are now seeking a new Training & Recruitment Officer to join their team. The role is primarily based in their Manchester Head Offices, but with weekly travel to their various sites across the UK. The main duties of the role involve:

  • Working as part of the Management Team, communicating the positive impact of development throughout the organisation.
  • Working alongside the Recruitment Manager in pro-actively sourcing candidates for Management roles, as well as Assisting with the Recruitment process at each stage, including inductions.
  • Management of student placement programmes, development of managers and succession planning.
  • Co-ordinating training activity across the business.

In order to apply for this role, you will have to possess the following:

  • Proven experience within Learning & Development.
  • Recruitment experience gained within a recruitment consultancy.
  • Proven experience within Hospitality Management.
  • CIPD Qualified (or working towards it).
  • Sound knowledge of Employment Law and Best Practice.
  • Have the determination to set goals and show initiative to achieve results.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Flexibility with travel requirements.
