IT Trainer; Permanent; Manchester; £20,000 – £22,000

Our client is a leading professional services organisation, based in the heart of the North West. As part of their continued expansion, they are now seeking to recruit an additional IT trainer, reporting directly to the Training Manager.

The key purpose of the role is to support in the design and delivery of key IT training courses and associated reference material to support all employees within the business. The courses will be focused on the company-wide employee base, and as such the ideal candidate will need to make sessions relevant and meaningful for employees at every level within the business.

The initial focus of the role will be the design and implementation of a training course introducing Microsoft Office 2007/2010, the objective to ensure improved usability and understanding across the whole of the business. As such, experience gained within a similar role within the professional services sector would be an advantage.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Exposure to delivering Microsoft Office training
  • Advanced Level in Microsoft 2007/2010
  • High level of proficiency with MS Outlook
  • Experience of designing, planning and presenting structured classroom based training courses, to a variety of ability levels/seniority
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to work responsibly and with autonomy
  • High-level personal organisation
  • Experience of collating figures and producing statistics for management reports

The salary bracket for this role is £20,000 – £22,000 per annum. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 7 hours per day between 8am 6pm with an hour for lunch, dependent on the needs of the business and/or Training department. Candidates must be willing to do any 7 hour shift between 8am 6pm.
